[WORKING TOGETHER]
Relaxed and mostly unposed. I shoot documentary-style: I give enough direction to get you comfortable, then let real moments happen. Expect to talk, move, and laugh more than you "saying cheese."
Almost everyone says that, and almost everyone is fine ten minutes in. I promise, you don't need to know how to pose.
Individuals, community groups and organizations, and brands and small businesses. Whether it's a portrait, a team, or an event, the approach is the same: real moments, not staged ones.
I'm in Greensboro, NC, and shoot across the Piedmont Triad. Sessions within 15 miles have no travel fee. Beyond that, travel is $0.50 per mile / quoted per trip. For those "longer" trips, shoot me an email!
Yes. Video is an add-on to any photo package. Mention it when you reach out and we'll plan the session around both.
[BOOKING]
Fill out the contact form and I'll send you a link to schedule a quick call. On the call we'll go over location, timing, and what you want. Once we agree on the details, a 25% deposit locks in your date.
Yes - no two sessions are the same. Fifteen minutes on the phone means we agree on the plan before the shoot, not during it.
2-3 weeks for portraits and 3-4 weeks for events and brand work. I don't take same-day or next-day shoots, because planning is part of what you're paying for.
No. It holds your date, which means turning down other clients. The full amount goes toward your total.
Give me at least a 48 hour notice and your deposit carries over once. Canceling after that, or not showing up, forfeits the deposit.
For outdoor sessions we'll watch the forecast together. If the weather is unsafe or ruins the plan, we reschedule at no cost.
[pricing]
The hour on camera is the smallest part of the work. Planning, travel, culling, and editing take several more hours for every session.
Planning, the session, professional editing, and a private online gallery. Session length and image counts for each package are listed on the Investment page.
Web design is exclusively for brands and businesses. If your business also needs photos or video, I can handle all of it.
It depends on length and scope. Ask about it when you reach out and I'll send a quote.
[shoot day]
What you'd actually wear, dressed up one level. Solid colors and texture photograph better than big logos or busy patterns. If you're stuck, send me your options before the shoot.
Your session starts at the booked time, so if you're late, we shoot for the time that's left. After 10 minutes with no word, it counts as a no-show.
Absolutely! Guests are welcome for support. If they want to be in the photos, that needs to be booked as a group/family session.
[delivery]
2 weeks for portraits, 3 weeks for events, and up for video. Sneak peeks ready in 3 days.
Through a private online gallery on PixieSet, where you can view, download, and share.
Each package lists a minimum on the Investment page. I deliver the best frames, not every frame.
No. Editing is half the photograph, and unedited files don't represent my work. You get every image I'd put my name on.
For outdoor sessions we'll watch the forecast together. If the weather is unsafe or ruins the plan, we reschedule at no cost.
[usage & rights]
Personal sessions cover personal use. Ads, products, and brand marketing need a commercial license, which is included in brand packages.
I may share favorites in my portfolio and on social media. If you'd rather keep your session private, tell me before the shoot.
I keep the copyright and you get a license to use the images. You're free to print them for personal use.
